Sometimes the mirrors are quite apparent in a tessellation, sometimes not. If the mirror is vertical inside a character, the bilateral symmetry of the human body makes it disappear, because it simply is always there. Put a horizontal mirror in there and that’s another story. Below looks like a puddle of water, above a mirror on the ceiling. Hmmm. This Dude is hitchhiking to Ucluelet, B.C. Paradise.
