Lucio was my painting professor a few years back. One of the exercises he threw upon us was to camouflage an aqua square in our painting. A rather large sheet of paper on the easel, and our newly acquired knowledge of colour effects, contrast, pairing, triads, the colour wheel… Here, a slightly different exercise, I’m trying to hide from you which symmetry group has been used. In order to do this, you must determine if there are any mirrors, any glides, any rotation points, any translations. Go for it! Let me know if you figure it out in the comments section below.
