Quite similar to one tessellation I did a few weeks ago. The Three Dogs tessellation. But this one is based on a six way rotation, group P6 rather than P3. If you have a look at both, the tails swirl around into a spiral, the Dash Hounds using 6 instances of tails, the originals using three tails. Both of these dog tessellations were created using iOrnament software on the iPad. Pros and cons to using either the more established KaleidoPaint or the new kid on the block iOrnament have already been explored.
Cute little beggars.

2018-10-18; I just couldn’t see myself colour coding six different yet identical dogs — maybe one day I will. But for now, a single instance of “Sprite”
