He’s also posted a few other videos for other region of the globe. If you can do something similar with random shapes, you are on your way to creating great tessellations.
David Bailey has brought to my attention that the above type of artwork is not a new thing. “Satirical Maps” have been a trend for over a century. Google it for images. Very cool!
