Two Shows this Spring, in Victoria, BC, Canada

Showing five tessellation prints starting in early March, 2023, on Vancouver Island.

A juried show at the Victoria Arts Council, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2023, “Levelling up, Breaking Down” will run from 4 –31 March in the VAC main gallery, 1800 Store Street, in Victoria, Canada. Gallery Hours are: Tuesday – Saturday from noon to 5pm. I will be showing a tessellation entitled “Push Back”, reproduced below.

Digital Show at the MAC/OCAC, summer 2020

The MAC, McMillan Arts Centre in Parksville BC is located in the old turn of the century schoolhouse on Jensen. They recently repurposed the children’s cloakroom into a digital corridor, six TV monitors showcasing local artists. The theme for the next few weeks is “SURFACING”, a digital exhibit exploring the themes of surfacing from isolation and fear to renewal and emerging hope. Seeing as most of you are not travelling too much lately, here is the video I’ve included in the show.

Sharing the walls with M.C.Escher in Italy

Three of my prints are being shown at the Stadt Galerie in Brixen, Italy, till the end of the month. Gelbe Karte, Prissy Groovy and Cool, and SnowflakesAndrew Crompton, David Hop, Hans Kuiper, Francine Champagne, Alain Nicolas, Fathauer Robert, Sam Brade are the artists representing the “Beyond” part of the show. All tessellations are part of the collection of Federico Giudiceandrea.
